some will stand and fight

the episode that will air tonight will be the 100th episode for lost! i watched the reviews for this episode and it looks like it will be very intense. faraday is now back on the island and trying to get people to evacuate the entire island. im assuming this because he is traveling through time and knows that the dharma initiative is eventually killed off by the others. i am assuming this is why he came back to the island. the previews showed that the dharma initiative was under some kind of attack. im sure they think that faraday is crazy for coming onto the island and making all these claims about needing to evacuate. i wonder if this will save miles' father from dying because they said at first that you cant change what happened in the past because whatever happened, happened. because a few episodes ago they realized that if that was true then why didnt ben recognize sayid initially when he got off the plane as the same man that shot him as  child. this is very intriguing and im sure something crazy will happen and they will end up saving most of the dharma initiative, or at least the ones who are smart enough to listen to faraday. i think that jack will be back in charge when all of this happens and it will make sawyer look bad. they all know what is eventually going to happen to the dharma initiative so they better leave the island when they have a chance. i think that this is going to be a very dramatic episode and i am afraid that either one of the main characters will die or somehow get left behind. but knowing lost they will drag out this dilemma for at least a couple more episodes...

theories

lost was a re-run this week which was thoroughly disappointing. it annoys me when they put in filler episodes to stretch out the seasons. the curiosity is killing me right now. i want to know how locke is going to run the island and i want the next episode to be devoted to him so that we can start to figured out where all his crazy ideas come from and maybe even try to understand his rationale for things. it is hard for me to believe that ben is going to become a follower and have to do whatever locke says in order to survive on the island.

i also want an episode to be dedicated to daniel faraday because there is still so much that we dont know about him. we know that his mother is basically in charge of the whole island and she is the reason the others were able to go back to the island. also the red headed archaeologist claimed that when she was younger daniel was their leader. this relates back to how at the very end of the last episode daniel comes out of the sub- in the 70s time period. i know that he does a lot of time traveling because he is an experienced and extremely intelligent physicist but he never sees to age so i cant figure out if he is just time traveling or if he is like ethan and never ages. plus it was confusing that when he got off the sub in the 70s period he recognized one of the survivors as if it was a conversation in present time??

even more about this episode..

ben's dad is starting to question what really happened to him. he thinks that someone took him from the hospital bed while juliet and kate had left the room for a few minutes leaving him alone. the show comes off to make him look clueless but when kate tries to comfort him he starts to think that she has something to do with ben's disappearance, when in all actuality he is right. early in the episode sawyer tells miles, who works in security, to erase the tape of him and kate taking ben to the others. right as miles was going to do it, horsch the head leader made him go on his mission of delivering the dead body. since he never took the tape out the other security guy shows up at sawyers house to tell him he knows who took ben. when the man blames sawyer, sawyer punks the man and ties him up. this is when they start to realize that they did not properly cover their tracks and a big uproar is about to take place. i dont think that sawyer really knows what he is going to do next, and his leadership skills are about to be tested. i am so curious to see what is going to happen when the security guy goes missing now also. they could easily blames it on the others but im not sure they will.

on another note, i am glad that they showed last episode how ben got alex. we always knew he stole her from the french woman but im glad they showed us exactly how. and..i was confused wen he was with a young boy named ethan? is that horsch's son that they named ethan? because it obviously isnt the older ethan who seems to never age or die and is in charge of the others...?

some like it hoth

in this episode we find out a lot about miles. we find out that he has always had his power of talking with the dead since he was a young child. we learn how he grew up with just his mother and he never really knew much of his father because he left them when he was a little boy. miles grew up hating his dad and taking money from people by pretending to talk to their lost relatives. eventually naomi who works for charles widmore approaches him about coming to the island for 1.6 million dollars. he accepts and then gets abducted and the people tell him that he is working for the wrong people and needs to be with them. this really confused me because they did not elaborate on this and just moved on after it. miles later realizes that his dad is the head scientist on the island and the man who is in all of the dharma videos giving instructions on how to work things in the different stations. he gets to know his dad some and actually sees himself as a child with his dad and realizes that his dad did love him and spend time with him. he finally starts to appreciate him and wants to help him.

also, miles becomes part of the circle of trust which meant that he had to pick up a package which consisted of him carting around a dead guy in a body bag. he is not allowed to ask questions and luckily sense he can talk to dead people he finds out what happened to him but his death doesnt really make much sense. also, hurley finds the body in the back of the van and was threatened by mile's dad to never tell anyone what he saw. i am curious to see how this story line plays out..

dead is dead

this was an interesting episode when suddenly on the island everyone who you thought was dead is not. the episode was mainly about ben and revealed a lot of things that we didnt know about him before like how he was brought up on the island, how he got alex, and his hatred for charles widmore. this episode was only about the plane victims, adding new characteristics and more drama to the show. i wish they would have devoted some of the episode the the main characters that are in the 70s at the dharma initiative. it is getting hard to keep up with both story lines. also ben was judged in this episode by the smoke monster. although i thought the island should have killed him off for all the bad things he has done, i knew that he couldnt possibly die at this part of the show so i was not the least bit worried. it was weird seeing alex alive again although i do not think that she was, i think it was just a ghost like figure reminding him of his past. i hope that he does not kill john locke again and does what alex tells him and listens to locke even though i know he is going to have to bite his tongue over it.

ben is not dead, but gone to the others

so i caught up on 2 more episodes since my last post and the first ended with ben being shot by sayid. the whole episode was about sayid and his purpose on the island and it should have been so obvious to me what that purpose was. ben trusts sayid as a child and sayid knew he could easily manipulate him. my jaw literally dropped when sayid shot ben at the very end. it would change everything and because i was so in shock i though that ben was dead. although it showed in the past episode that he was not dead but barely living. jack refuses to operate on him and kate gets mad and donates her own blood to give to young ben. when they realize that they cannot help ben where they are they decide to take him to the others. they bring him to ethan and he says that if he takes him now things will never be the same. ben is now with the others so the present still makes sense but i wonder what will now happen to the dharma initiative? originally they were wiped out by ben after he killed his father, but at this point ben's father and the entire dharma initiative still exist. the others will have to come up with a new plan of action. i am quite curious to see what they do next and i especially want to see who they blame for stealing the janitor keys and letting the hostile escape!
